(Little note: This version of 'Lydia' was inspired by my profile picture, which was originally merely drawn as a Negaduck-fangirl thing for this forum, haha.. but, one evening of not being able to sleep after I went to bed resulted in a background for the character - actually hoping to try and turn it into a fanfic, but I'm not so good at finishing stories.)

Real Name: Lydia Schnabel ('Schnabel' is the German word for 'beak' and is, in fact, a last name in Germany.)

Nicknames: Imposter

Age: Somewhere in her 30's

Occupation: Singer-Songwriter (Negaduck impersonator); Villain.

Appearance: Rather short; has naturally black hair; silver eyes; white feathers; small but curvey beak; tailtip curled. Wears gothic eyeliner; Negaduck's mask, hat and cape and a feminine version of his suit (different from my profile picture) with a low-cut v-neckline and a black choker. Black, fingerless gloves that go just above her elbows.

Secret identity: (She does the two-lives deal, keeping her non-stage life and name out of public view.)

Biography: Born in St. Canard to a St. Canardian mother duck and a German father duck. Grew up in the former West Germany. Studied music in a highly renowned university (in Berlin... or someplace, you know) and, as a hobby, studied martial arts and various other fighting forms and weapons on the side. Started her musical career under her real name, but didn't have much success - out of frustration, she commits numours petty, small-time crimes (somehow managing not to get caught). Her parents were killed whilst visiting family St. Canard (haven't figured out how old she is, yet), which begans her spiral from petty-crimes into villainy.

She learns about Negaduck and begins fanatically following his criminal career. At first, she plans to simply follow in his dastardly footsteps, trying out his ideas in her hometown (though only half-heartedly as she longs to make a life out of music). Out of this longing, she forms the rather nut-case idea of impersonating him for her music career and finally hit it bigtime (people, of course, knowing she isn't THE Negaduck, for... obvious reasons). Cut a deal to go on-tour, insisted on visiting her birthtown of St. Canard whilst overseas and giving a special, secret concert there (against her Agent's wishes, who considered the whole stunt to be 'asking for it').

Her first St. Canardian concert broadcast live on local TV would catch both Masked Mallards' attention. (I only presume she got this far with her crime against humanity, er, Negaduck, because, in the series, no one ever seems to concern themselves much with the goings-on outside of St. Canard.)

She never continues with her tour, instead staying in St. Canard to become another member of the criminal element (... or dead duckette - either way, many fans are disappointed).
